A brief outline of the syllabus: There are two papers, both essay based: · Physical: structure, plate-tectonics, folding,
faulting, meteorology, hydrology, coasts. · Human: population, industry, urban, regional
development, pollution and conservation, agriculture. |
The particular qualities which are needed for this subject:

A good command of written English. ·
Basic Mathematical skills. ·
Some science. ·
Patience, and the ability to read widely. |
